The number of gay men pursuing fatherhood through surrogacy is increasing. The path to parenthood for gay individuals and couples require comprehensive services of both egg donation, surrogacy and IVF. At the same time there are many other considerations from Gay Intended Parents such as how to talk to their children about the journey, how society understands and treats their family and much more. This virtual event will give gay prospective intended parents an understanding of the process, as well as share experiences from current gay fathers through egg donation and surrogacy. There will also be time for a Q&A with gay dads and experienced Intended Parents.

One of the key considerations in any surrogacy and/or egg donation journey is choosing the right agency. Which agency is the right option includes considering many difference aspects of the journey, including timelines. Surrogacy match times are usually the most important timeline to consider to ensure a timely process. This virtual event will give Intended Parents a deeper insight into what impacts agency matching times, as well as what can make a match time shorter vs. longer, explained by Hatch’s Agency President and International Manager. There will also be time for a Q&A.
Intended Parents looking to pursue an Egg Donation or Surrogacy journey have to consider many key aspects in their decision-making process. This leaves little time to consider important emotional aspects such as how to discuss the journey with future children born through Egg Donation or Surrogacy. This virtual event will bring together experienced Intended Parents to discuss how they planned for these conversations as well as share ideas on how to do so in a suitable manner. There will also be time for a Q&A with experienced Intended Parents.
