Surrogacy Laws in Germany

When pursuing surrogacy in Germany, many intended parents look to find a surrogate in the United States due to Germany's unfavorable family-building laws. U.S. surrogacy laws require that intended parents and surrogates are represented by legal counsel when developing their surrogacy agreement. At Hatch, we can connect you with the best attorneys in reproductive and family law to ensure your protection and a smooth journey ahead.

Surrogacy laws in the United States recognize gestational surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, and embryo donation, making the country a favorable place for family-building. Parents from Germany looking to embark on a surrogacy journey in the U.S. can expect inclusivity, allowing for single parents by choice and LGBTQ+ families to pursue surrogacy without discrimination.
