Congratulations on your little one to be. There’s a poem which reads “Babies are born trailing clouds of glory.” I hope your baby brings you much happiness and joy. I’m glad that I was able to help with your conception.
Having a baby is one of the most beautiful and continually fulfilling experiences I think a person can have. I hope so much for you that the pregnancy works out and remember, during the worst part of all this—labor—it’s all worth it! Wishing you lots of happiness—and sleep!
It’s been a few weeks since my part in this whole process has been over and I’ve hesitated writing because this may sound silly, but it all seems too important to put into words. But I would like to thank you for choosing me in such a special life decision.
Your letter was so sweet and really helped push me forward when those hot flashes started getting to me. I found this to be one of the most emotionally fulfilling things I have ever done. Every day I would rub my bloated stomach and say, “OK, now let’s make some big, strong, healthy eggs.” And then I would close my eyes and make a silent little wish that your dream would come true. I know the devastation of not having that one thing you want most.
I hope so much that this works out for you.
I just spent a week with my sister’s three kids and I can’t imagine anything more incredible than having children in our lives. Since the cycle began, I’ve felt really wonderful about the fact that I’ve been helping contribute to something that ultimately could make a miracle happen.
I don’t know about you, but for some reason I keep thinking “twins!” Whatever the outcome, I’d like you both to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My very best wishes to you…and yours!
It is the evening before “our” retrieval and I sit here thinking so very much about you, as I have done often over these few weeks.
I must admit that this has been a rather difficult cycle for me (and I know how familiar you are with all of the discomfort!), but when I think of you and your family and all that may hopefully lie ahead of you, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, for I have loved sharing this experience with you. I wish you much joy and happiness and I send you my love.
I was so thrilled when I received your letter. It was so very moving and I thank you for that. In the past, I have never thought about the idea of making a contribution to someone’s future happiness, but when I read your letter, I truly felt how much you desired a family.
I realized that I might be able to help that desire be fulfilled. I feel your desire, passion, and love for a family, and it only makes me hope that at some point I may come to experience that same desire myself. It must be an incredible experience to give birth to your own child, and I want nothing more than for the procedure to be an absolute success for you. I have all the faith in the world that it will, and that 9 months from now you’ll be giving birth to a beautiful baby…
I don’t even know where to begin. You have been and always will be an absolute blessing in my life. I cannot ever begin to express that enough. You are such a kind, warm-hearted, giving and loving person and I feel so honored and special to have you as a part of my life.
These past two years that I have had the opportunity to work with you and your staff has changed my life for the better. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to be one of your donors, I feel so privileged to be picked by such a loving and wonderful recipient.
After my retrieval I took some time off of work to relax, recover and took a quick, fun trip to New York. Feeling great and back to my normal routine. Thank you so much for the gift I received.
Working with you and your staff has always been a great experience. In a way, you all seem like family to me. This whole process is so amazing and it truly has impacted my life in ways unimaginable. You and your staff are truly angels!
I had planned to write this letter AFTER I had successfully completed the DE process with your agency, but after second thought, I decided to draft it now. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your time, concern, and caring. You and your staff have really gone above and beyond my expectations during this emotional time.
I have had some trials and tribulations, yet everyone has been so caring and understanding. I know that I have not been the easiest person to deal with at times, but you and your group have never made me feel too demanding. In fact, on the contrary, you have stopped what you were doing in order to comfort, console, and get me back on track.
Thank you for all your support and love throughout this great experience. I also want to thank all of the girls at your office – they’re sweet and full of information. Now, thanks to all of our great teamwork, a wonderful gift has been conceived.
I am overwhelmed by your generosity and kind words. I cannot express what these two experiences have given me in terms of a sense of contribution and joy. You and the women you work with are the angels.
The attention and goodness the team gave to me was familiar. Everyone at HRC, again, was flawless. The union you have with HRC was a match made in heaven.
Thank you for the amount of research you have put into this enterprise that I can’t even call a business. For your work transcends any label for it is vast and multidimensional and beyond words.
You are such a sweet, kind, and special human being and I feel privileged you trusted me enough to accept me into your program. It has been a most positive experience for me and I would not hesitate to do it again.
You and all the doctors have been fantastic! Sometimes in my line of work I feel so selfish – thank you for letting me do something good to help someone else. It’s nice to focus off myself for a change. I will be praying for a healthy delivery for the sweet couple – they deserve it!
How do you thank someone for volunteering to give the gift of life? There’s no format for such a letter. There’s no greeting card from Hallmark (at least not yet). So instead, we’ll just tell you from our hearts how enormously lucky we feel to have connected with you.
